It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother, Elizabeth Prisk, common-law spouse of Michael Pitre, of Pabineau First Nation, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the age of 55.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Lawrance Prisk and Marie (Pitre) Prisk.

Elizabeth is survived by her children: Jessica Prisk (Jeremy Holland) of Pabineau First Nation, Lisa Megan Prisk of Bathurst, and Jeremy Malley (Samatha Malley) of Pabineau First Nation; grandchildren: Bree, Mandy and Zack of Pabineau First Nation, LuLu of Bathurst, Jade of British Columbia and Joel of Pabineau First Nation; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Elizabeth is predeceased by one brother Noel Prisk.

Elizabath loved nature especially the water, where she worked tirelessly with the Salmon Enhancement Program. She was a crafter and enjoyed diamond painting in her spare time.
