Bathurst- It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother Marcia (Nee Daigle) McCarthy wife of the late Robert “Bob” McCarthy, whose death occurred on Saturday, April 25,2026, at the Foyer Norte-Dame de Lourdes, Bathurst at the age of 87.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Evelyne (Nee Pitre) Daigle.

Marcia leaves behind her seven children: Line (Bob), Luc (Rita), Paul (Mary), Carole, Marc, Terry, and Shane; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; siblings: Delcia, Guy (Dianne), Clovis, and Ronny (Anita).

Besides her parents and Husband, Marcia is predeceased by one sister Gladys.

As pre-Marcias wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Donations in memory of Marica can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
