Bathurst – Mrs. Marcella Roy, wife of the late Hector Roy, passed away on Friday March 27, 2026, at the Villa Sormany in Robertville, at the age of 100.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Bennett and the late Laura (Ward) Bennett.

She is survived by one son: Clarence Roy (Rosella) of Bathurst. One daughter: Margaret Bujold (Donald) of Beresford.

Grandchildren: Bruce Roy, Richard Roy, Kevin Roy and Dean Bujold.

Great-grandchildren: Marissa and Sarah.

Sister: Blanche Young of Bathurst. Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
