Bathurst - It is with deep sadness that we the family, announce the passing of our beloved aunt, Mrs. Marie Alphonsine Little, wife of the late Wilbur “Bill” Little of Bathurst, which occurred at the Lameque Hospital on Monday March 9, 2026, at the age of 102.

Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Evangeline (Doucet) Frenette.

She is survived by one brother, Gérald (Norma) Frenette of Beresford.

Nieces: Pierrette Hébert (Jean-Claude), Marie Roy (late Jacques), Monique Lagacé (Rénald), Claire Johnstone (Chuck) and several other nieces and nephews whom she held dear, and a special friend, Jacqueline Grant.

Besides her husband and parents, she was pre-deceased by her brothers: Richard, Romeo, Martial and sisters: Elodie, Rosa and Venolia.

She worked as an Executive Assistant at the Belledune Fertilizer for the last eleven years of her working career.  She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Women's League, Bathurst. 

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Monday March 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com) in Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Marie, can be made to the Holy Family Church or a favourite charity.
