Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing, of Simone Cruickshank, of Sycamore Ave., Bathurst, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Wednesday February 18, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born in St. Isidore she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Duguay) Chiasson.

Besides her spouse Michael Christie of Bathurst, she is survived by her son, Wesley Echlin (Tammy) of Summerside, PE and daughter, Josee Lee Bertin (Fernando) of Tracadie.

Grandchildren: Dylan, Chase, Faith, Cole, Grace, Jay and Broden.

One brother: Alcide Chiasson of Sudbury, ON. Two sisters: Geraldine Chiasson of Pabineau Falls, Noëlla Boucher (Norman) Qc. Several nieces and nephews.

As per Simone’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Simone may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
