It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Marina Stroepken, which occurred on Sunday October 3rd, 2021, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of 68.
Marina was born in Iran and later moved to Canada with her late parents Abdul Easo and Kawkab Z Hana.
She leaves behind three brothers: Shawki of Detroit, Michigan, Amil of Calgary, Alberta and Loay of Beresford, New Brunswick.
Four sisters: Emil and Ekhlas both of Germany, Bernadette and Jina both of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Several cousins, nieces and nephews: Katja and family (Marcel and Henry), Peter and Crystal, Sven and Sarah, Jenna and Elena.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, October 7th at 11 a.m. from Holy Family Church, Bathurst. Masks are mandatory and proof of double vaccination will be required.
Donations in memory of Marina may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
