Chamberlain Settlement- Mrs. Jeannine Caissie, wife of the late Leonard Caissie, of Chamberlain Settlement Rd. which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst Tuesday (26 June 2007) at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of late Arthur and May (Doucet) Roy She is survived by: Six sons : Gerard Caissie (Deborah), South Tetagouche. Steven Caissie (Nicole), Beresford. Kenneth Caissie (Claudette), St Anne. Ronald Caissie (Colette) Thetford Mines, QC Raymond Caissie (Guylaine) Thetford Mines, QC Michel Caissie (Chantale) Allardville. Two daughters: Rosella Brideau (Gerald) Pointe Verte, Brenda Mercure (Marcel) Bathurst. One brother; Omer Roy of Bathurst, One sister; Patsy Aubé of Beresford and Alex Caissie her long time special friend of Bathurst. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Sacred Heart Cathedral at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (28 June 2007) afternoon. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
