Mrs. Elizabeth Henry, 102, wife of the late Albert J. Henry, formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away on Friday (March 23, 2007) at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, after a brief illness. Born in South Tetagouche, she was the daughter of the late Jerome and Margaret (Legacy) Pitre. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert J. Henry, in 1981. She is survived by: Three daughters: Marcella Pitre (Donald) and Norma Comeau (Emile) both of Beresford Jeannette Pitre (Jean-Claude)of South Tetagouche, NB Two sons: Valmond Henry (Marie-Anne) of Nicholas Denys, NB Medric Henry (Bernice) of Smokey Lake, AB One brother: Stafford Pitre (Leona) of Ste Anne, Glou. Co., NB 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon (27 March, 2007) at 4:00 p.m. from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Ave., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary Magdeleine Cemetery, South Tetagouche, in the spring.
