It is with broken hearts that we announce that Bride Dalton lost her courageous battle with cancer on December 31, 2006. She was 58.
Originally from St. Mary's NL, Bride made her home in Bathurst for the last 19 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Tom also from St. Mary's.
She will be sadly missed everyday by her three daughters:
Heather (Jason Pitre) of Toronto, ON
Korri-Lee and Dana of Bathurst
Her loving partner: Greg Firlotte of Bathurst
Her brothers;
Hubert Dinn (Netta), Don Dinn (Rosie), Jack Dinn (Sharon), Leo Dinn, Bill Dinn, her sisters; Marion Dalton (Don), Agatha Dinn and Peg Fagan (Don) and sister-in-law Kay Dinn (Alec), all of Newfoundland and Labrador; the Dalton family; several nieces and nephews; many wonderful friends; and finally - her greatest joy - her precious grandson Jack Thomas.
Funeral Services and burial will be held on January 5, 2007, in St. John's NL. As well, a memorial gathering will be held on Sunday (January 7, 2007) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
