It is with sadness that we, the family, wish to announce the passing of Mr. Cléophas Ross, husband of the late Dianna (David) of Bathurst, which occurred on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, at the age of 86. Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Francis Ross and the late Lorina Chamberlain.

He is survived by his children: Roméo (late Martha) of Tracadie, Shirley Ross of Bathurst, and Terry (Corinne) of Prince George, BC; his grandchildren: Crystal, Kayla, and Sarah; and his great-grandchildren: Vincent, Rowan, and Ruth. He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Albert, Adelard, Alfred, David, Normand, Donald, Géraldine, Angéline, Claudette, and Darlene, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is now resting with his parents and his brothers and sisters: Delphis, Claude, Délima, Emma, and Marie.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Elhatton’s Funeral Home in Bathurst. www.elhatton.com
