Bathurst - It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of David Couture, of Bathurst, which occurred Monday August 24, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 76.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Charles and Estelle (Doucet) Couture.

He will be deeply missed by his wife, Cathy (Caissie) Couture and two sons:  Randy Couture (Monique) of Pabineau Falls and Danny Couture of Bathurst.

One granddaughter, Celina.

Two brothers:  Edward Couture (Maggie) and Armand Coutre (Lucille) both of Bathurst.

Two sisters: Patrina Luce (James) and Linda Couture (Albenie Chamberlain) both of Bathurst.

Several nieces & nephews.

David was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, dancing and camping.

By request, there will be no visitations or funeral service. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
