Clifton, NB – It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Mrs. Elizabeth Shea Whitfield, of Clifton and formerly of London, ON., which occurred Friday August 21, 2026, at her residence at the age of 98.

Born in Thunder Bay, ON, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Lillian (Brown) Kirkpatrick. 

She is survived by two children:  Lori Jagoe (Thomas) of Clifton and Elizabeth Brothers (Jim) of Strathroy, ON.

Six grandchildren: Alyssa, Emily, Megan, Morgan, Sarah, Nicole and ten great-grandchildren: Leah, Carter, Trevor, Lydia, Rowan, Ashby, Tyson, Elizabeth, Nash and Kane.

Several nieces and nephews. 

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was pre-deceased by her 1st husband, Garnet Shea, her 2nd husband, Peter Whitfield, a son, Garnet Shea and a sister, Margaret.

A graveside service will be held in London, ON, at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
