Bathurst- Mrs. Eileen Hennessy, 86, wife of the late Roger Hennessy, of Dumaresq St, Bathurst, passed away Saturday 26 August 2006 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst. Born in South Nelson, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward O'Toole and the late Helen Georgina Quinn. Her family moved to Bathurst in 1928. In 1940, she married Roger Francis Hennessy who predeceased her in 1988. She was a lifetime member and past president of the Holy family Church Catholic Women's League, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #18 Herman J. Good and Club 200 Seniors until her recent illness. She is survived by, 3 daughters; Mary Patricia Hennessy of Bathurst, NB Sharon Olscamp (Gilles) of Dunlop, NB Anna Albert (Eddie) of Hamilton, ON 2 sons; James Hennessy (Susan Snowdon) of Sudbury, ON Thomas Hennessy (Gail Hachey) of Bathurst, NB 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews 1 Brother Frank O'Toole of Bathurst A Bother Edward O'Toole and two sisters, Lillian Fahey, Mae Whalen predeceased her. The family will receive relatives and friends at Elhatton Funeral Home, 187 St.George Street, Bathurst after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday 29th August 2006. Funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday 30th August 2006 from Holy Family Church, St. Peter Avenue, Bathurst at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
