Bathurst – Mrs. Evangeline Aubie, wife of the late Doran Aubie, of Bathurst, passed away on Tuesday May 19, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 89.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Jane (Lavigne) Arseneau.

She is survived by her children:

Wayne Aubie (Suzanne) of Bathurst and

Claudette Roy (Gerald) of Petit-Rocher.

Two grandchildren: Jeffery Boudreau and Derrick Aubie both of Moncton

3 great-grandchildren: Adyn, Jack and Colton.

One sister: Freda Harrison of Florida.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Doran, she was predeceased by a grandson Gregory Boudreau, brothers; Raymond, Louis, Lawrence and Al as well as a sister Patsy McGinnis.

There will be no visitation at the Funeral Home. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday June 2, 2026 at 2 p.m. from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
