Bathurst – Mrs. Shirley Thibodeau, 85, wife of the late Lloyd Thibodeau, formerly of Basin Street, Bathurst, passed away on Sunday March 29th, 2026, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Leo Thomas and Mary “Minnie” (Robichaud) Doucet.

Shirley worked at Trans Canada Credit for 40 years up until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flower beds.

Shirley is survived by one son: Drew (Krista) of Fredericton and Dawn Thibodeau-Ellis (David) of Salmon Beach.

Three grandchildren whom she lived for: Mya, Jordyn, and Ashton.

One sister: Poppy Glazier (Ron) of Bathurst.

She was pre-deceased by one brother Thomas; two sisters: Jean Maher (late Wesley) and Effie Gould (late Wilfred).
