Bathurst – André Pitre, husband to the late Angela "Angele" (Henry) Pitre, of Bathurst and formerly of South Tetagouche, passed away on day, December 24, 2025, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 88.

Born in Bathurst, he was the last member of his family and was the son of the late Michel and Priscilla (Gauthier) Pitre.

He is survived by his children: Henry (Mary Jane) of Rough Waters, Ronnie (Marie-Josée) of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Jean-Marc of Bathurst, Michel (Debbie) of Beresford, Suzanne Pitre (George Laroque) of Bathurst, Emily Roy (Kenny) of Nigadoo, Mary May Pitre, Murielle Pitre (Roger) both of Bathurst and Natalie Pitre (Daniel) of South Tetagouche.

Sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he is now with wife, Angie and son Maurice and his sisters Cecile, Yvonne, Stella and Beatrice and by a son, Maurice, a granddaughter, Nadine, four sisters: Yvonne Daigle, Stella Laurette, Beatrice Pitre and Cecile Pitre.

Hobbies included late drives always parked by giant Tiger. Just looking at the cars going by often goes to car lots just to look at new cars, loved spending time at his camp you would often see him at Walmart. He loves shopping there.
