His joy and pride extended to his great-grandchildren: Brynn, Shea, Avery, Rylie, Peyton, Lane, Savanah, Azlyn, Wren, Barrett, Bryson, Nolan, Jaxon, and Kate.

Grant was a man of many passions — he loved spending time in the woods with a chainsaw and hunting, and many years of playing ball. He was a coach, mentor, leader and a treasure trove of information guidance support and direction to anyone he met. His memory and detail in recounting stories was envied by anyone who knew him. He could often be found at the legion, where he enjoyed a good game of shuffleboard and the company of friends. Most of all, Grant was deeply family-oriented; nothing brought him greater happiness than being surrounded by those he loved.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Mathieu and Laura and the Extra Mural Nursing Staff for their exceptional care and kindness.
