It is with sadness that we, the family, announces the passing of Mary Valerie Frenette, wife of the late Kevin Frenette, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Alida (Richard) Frenette and George Frenette.

She is survived by her children: Jacques Frenette (Linda) of Bathurst, David Frenette of Edmonton, Rebecca Frenette of Toronto, and George Frenette (Wanda) of Bathurst.

Grandchildren: Stephanie, Josée, Joel, Dawson, Kevin John.

Great grandchildren: Chloe, Samuel, and Anthony.

Siblings: Louise Watling (late Peter Watling) of Bathurst, Monique Taylor (Brent Taylor) of Moncton and Gabrielle Frenette of Bathurst.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by siblings: Louis Frenette and Eloi Frenette.

Valerie had a special love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Valerie had a passion for golf, the outdoors, nature and gardening.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
