It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Walter Cedroff which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the age of 94.
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, for the last 26 years he enjoyed the peace and natural beauty of New Brunswick, 20 years in Moncton, the last 6 years here in Bathurst.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Eileen (Hall) Cedroff, his children, Nina (Wayne) Andrews of Surrey, BC, Jorgina Cedroff of Mission, BC, Rhonda Cedroff of Richmond, BC. His daughter, Rayna Anderson predeceased him. He has several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes, no memorial service will be held. Remember him in your own way–by listening to your favorite song, a walk in your favorite nature spot, or a quiet moment under the stars.
He was a member of the Tetagouche Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Bathurst. Though we grieve, our hearts are filled with hope. We look forward to the day when we’ll be reunited in the promised New World, where death will be no more.
“He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.”--Isaiah 25:8, New World Translation.
