It is with profound sadness that the family of Diane Chiasson announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 at the age of 74 years.

She was the daughter of the late Aurèle Chiasson and Lorraine (Frenette)

She will be lovingly missed by Jacques Landry, her daughters: Tammi Garrett (Stephen) and Jennifer Comeau, both from London, ON, five grandsons who were the light of her life: Jonathan (Victoria), Christopher (Nicole), Keagan, Nathan and Gavin, her sisters Betty Fournier (late Doris) Stella Chiasson (Real Savoie), Lorraine Chiasson (late Albert Clement, her brother Jason Chiasson (Jill) and her beloved stepmother Marie-Anna Chiasson.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Extra Mural, Dr. Marie-Soleil Lamarre, Dr. Rebecca Arseneault, nurse practitioner Nathalie Gauthier and everyone who cared for her during her last days. A special thank you to Solange, Nathalie and Carmen for their compassionate care and support. Thank you Monette and Paula for their kindness, friendship and support.

Diane loved her family fiercely. She could talk hockey with the best of them and loved ‘her Sidney Crosby’ and Pittsburg Penguins. She loved sitting at the beach to watch the sunrise, go for drives and spending quality time with her loved ones. We will miss her tremendously.

As per her wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer.

Donations can be made in Diane’s name to l’Auberge Mgr-Henri-Cormier in Moncton, NB.
