It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Adelard Duguay of Nigadoo which occurred on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at the age of 69.

Born in Hamilton, ON he was the son of Margaret (Legacy) Duguay of Nigadoo and the late Wilfred Duguay.

He will be sadly missed by his spouse Darleen Belanger.

A daughter, Melanie Dawn Belanger (Blake) of Bathurst.

A son, Cory Shawn Duguay (Shonna) of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren, Ian Seth Guitard and Odin Kai Duguay.

One sister, Elizabeth Peter-Paul of Pabineau First Nation.

One brother, George Duguay of Petit-Rocher.

Several nieces and nephews.

Adelard had a great smile and sense of humour; he will be missed by many.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. from Elhatton Funeral Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Donations in memory of Adelard may be made to the Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice.
