Beresford – Gary Arthur “Butch” Kamermans, husband of the late Helen (Bigney) Kamermans, of Beresford, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Friday, December 15th, 2023, at the age of 83.

Born in Sydney, NS, he was the son of the late Arthur and Juanita Jonah.

He leaves behind one son, Gary Richard Kamermans of Edmonton, AB, One sister Linda Waye.

Besides his parents and spouse, he was predeceased by his brother William “Bill” and sister Bonnie Ellis.

Gary worked for Day and Ross as a truck driver for 40 plus years. He also spent some time in the air force in the 1950’s. He kept himself busy, playing softball into his mid 70’s.

A Funeral service will be held at Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, on Friday December 22, 2023, at 11 a.m.
