Bathurst – Mrs. Doris Doucet, wife Alcide Doucet, formerly of East Bathurst, passed away on Friday December 8th, 2023, at the Foyer Notre Dame-de-Lourdes in Bathurst, at the age of 95.

Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Albert "Bert" and Lina (Doucet) Doucet.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: David Doucet (Frances) of Bathurst and Gilles Doucet (Julia) of Dieppe.

Six grandchildren: Marc, Michel, Renée, Christine, Richard and Pierre.

Several nieces and nephews.

Doris was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by two sons: Marc, Yvon, a sister, Alfreda and four brothers: Louis, Roger, Gérard and Norman.
