Peter Hugh McKinnon

Bathurst - Pete passed away on October 11, 2023, of heart failure.

He is survived by his loving wife Susie and two children: Shelley & Mike, son in law Brennon, grandchildren Morgan, Jared, Kaitlyn, Erin & Molly; his siblings Cynthia, Cathy and Angus (predeceased David) as well as his extended family will celebrate his life as he wished ~ with tears of joy in their hearts and laughter in their eyes for having known him.

As Scottish poet Robert Burns said "Good night and joy be with you all, your harmless mirth has cheered my heart, may life's full blasts out of yer blaw, in sorrow may ye never part. My spirit lives, but strength is gone, the mountain fires now blaze in vain. Remember, sons, the deeds I've done, and in your deeds I'll live again."

As per Pete's wishes, there will be no funeral or viewing but instead a celebration of life will be held at his home for friends and family and those that knew him on October 18th from 2 to 6 pm. In his memory, please consider a donation in his name to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
