Beresford - Guenther Horst Hentschel, formerly of Beresford, husband of Catherine (Roy) Hentschel, passed away on Monday August 7, 2023, at the Villa Sormany, Robertville, at the age of 83.

Born in Breslau, Germany, he was the son of the late Robert and Anna (Lindner) Hentschel.

Besides his wife, he is survived by sisters-in-law: Evelyn Seman (late Charles) and Gisèle Roy (late Charles Edward).

His nieces and nephews: Denyse Richard (David Scott), Bernard Roy (Michelle), Michael Seman, François Roy (Marielle), Monique King (David) and Carole Roy (Gilles Robichaud.

Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by his in-laws: Arthur F. and Elizabeth Roy, brother-in-law, Rev. François Roy and sister-in-law, Yvonne Richard (Jacques).

The family will be forever grateful for the excellent care and compassion given to Guenther at the Villa Sormany during his stay and especially his last 7 days.
