It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, announce the passing of Robert Kenny, husband of Rose-Marie (Boudreau) Kenny which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 5th, 2023 at the age of 86.

Born in Allardville, he was the son of the late Edmund and Marie-Anne (Chiasson) Kenny.

Besides his wife of Bathurst, he is survived by his three children:

Gerald (Rhonda) Kenny, Marc Kenny both of Halifax and Joanne (Denys) Lagacy of Beresford. Four grandchildren: Ryan, Scott, Christina Kenny and Danika Lagacy. Four greatgrandchildren: Blake, Claire, Jacob and Abigaëlle.

He also leaves behind his brothers and sisters: Norval (late Anne), Freddy (Jeannine) both of Bathurst, Allain (Dina) of Beresford, Kenneth of Halifax, N.S.

Melvin (Evelyn) of Whitby, ON., Iona Bernard (late Jacques) of Allardville,

and Mildred Aubout (Elie) of Bowmanville, ON.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings: Dolores, James "Jim", Henri, Edmonde and Norman.

Visitation will be held from Elhatton Funeral Home, Bathurst on Tuesday April 11th, 2023 from 7-9 p.m and Wednesday April 12th, 2023 from 9 a.m until departure for the funeral mass which will be held at 11 a.m. from Holy Rosary church, Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Robert may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
