  •  Location: Bathurst

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ralph Aubie announce his peaceful passing on Friday, May 27th, 2022 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital. He was 83.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Roy) Aubie and daughters: Monica (Shawn) Stymiest, Lynn Aubie both of Bathurst and granddaughters: Olivia Jean Stymiest and Katie Lynn Stymiest.

Brother-in-law, Peter Roy of Bathurst and sister-in-law, Ann Hewlin of Newfoundland.

He was predeceased by his parents Lucien and Jeanne (Poirier) Aubie and sister, Viola Aubie.

Ralph worked most of his life in mining in Labrador and Northern Quebec. He was a man of great generosity. He loved all nature had to provide and every stranger was just a friend he hadn’t met. He was the king of the BBQ and nothing made him happier than sharing a meal with his family and friends. He will forever be a light in our hearts. We love you.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dre. S. Camiré, Drs. Mimiche, the Extra Mural team and palliative care department for their care and compassion.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
