It comes with great sadness to announce that I, Thomas Edward Hennessy, of Riverside Dr., Bathurst, passed away on September 6, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, at the age of 67.
Born in Bathurst, I was the son of the late Roger Hennessy and Eileen (O’Toole) Hennessy.
I leave behind my loving wife Gail Hennessy (Hachey) and four beautiful children: Kyle Jamieson, Kelsey Donnelly (Adam), Keana Hennessy all of Bathurst and Jason Hennessy of Edmonton, AB. Very dear to my heart are my three grandchildren: Nathan Pitre and Olivia and Grayson Donnelly.
Also left behind are my siblings Anna Albert (Eddy) of Hamilton, Ontario, Sharon Olscamp (Gilles) of Dunlop, and sister in law Debbie Branch (late Harold) of Bathurst. From them came my numerous loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
I adored my many friends and cousins, with the O’Tooles holding a special place in my heart.
Employed by Brunswick Mines for 25 years, later I travelled across Canada, supervising numerous Mining and Construction projects.
I was honoured to be actively involved and dedicated to the North Shore Shrine Club, and the Bathurst Chapter 27 Masons. And proud to have achieved my third degree black belt rank in Jukai Jutsu.
I was pre-deceased by my brother in law Harold Branch and best friend Kevin Meagher, whom I’ve greatly missed.
