Bathurst – It is with great sadness that the family of Hélène (nee Haché) Roy, wife of the late Ligouri Roy, announces her passing which occurred on July 25, 2026 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst, at the age of 91.

Born in Saint-Isidore, she was the daughter of the late David Haché and the late Anida (nee Bilodreau) Haché.

She was retired registered nurse from the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst.  

Hélène is survived by her three children: Denis (Connie) of Fredericton, Lise Roy of Dieppe and Jacques of Bathurst; two grandchildren: Braeden and Kelsey both of Fredericton; one sister, Adriene of Saint-Isidore; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents, she is pre-deceased by her siblings: Larenzo, Paul, Carmele, Morielle, Bernard and Valery

As pre Hélènes wishes, there is will be no visitation at the funeral home, a funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 30, 2026, at 11 am from Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Bathurst.
