Bathurst- It is with immense sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved mother, Brenda Zulak whose death occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday February 15, 2026, at the age of 66 after a year long battle with bladder cancer.

Born in Toronto, Ontario she is the daughter of Allanson Furlotte and Juanita (Driscoll) Furlotte of Bathurst, New Brunswick.

Besides her parents, Brenda leaves behind two daughters: Natasha (Peter LeClair) of Peterborough, Ontario and Sarah (William Pye) of Courtice, Ontario; two grandchildren: Charlotte and Theodore both of Peterborough, Ontario; one sister: Cheryl (Donnie MacLean) of Simcoe, Ontario and two nieces: Kaitlin and Keeley both of Hamilton, Ontario.

Brenda is predeceased by one grand-child Joseph “Peanut” with whom she will join for her final resting place.

As per-Brenda’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A celebration will be held in Ontario at a later date. Donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. (www.sickkidsfoundation.com)

Brenda enriched people's lives with her genuine smile, her playful sense of humor and her kindness. She will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
