It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Graham Wilson Bennett, which occurred at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Saturday May 24, 2025, at the age of 71.

Born in St. Paul’s, Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Donald and Hilda Bennett and stepmother Jemima.

He leaves behind his spouse Lorraine Gilley, his son Wilson Gilley (Dawn Bilodeau) of Beresford.

His grandson Dillon Gilley and his mother Jenny of Brampton, Ontario.

His siblings: Bernard Bennett (Daisy), Curtis Bennett (late Mae) and Irene Payne (late Foster) all of Newfoundland.

Extended family of Gilley In-laws Larry (Mary), Ira (Wavey), Darrell (Cheryl), Sandra (Dennis), & Jacqueline.

Several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings Ralph Payne and Daniel Bennett.

We have many cherished memories of family card games, watching hockey while enjoying a beer, and our dog Murdoch by his side.

A special thanks to the doctors and staff of the Chaleur Regional Hospital for their exceptional care of Graham during his final weeks.

A funeral service will be held at a later date.
