It is with great sadness that we, the family of Donald Pitre, husband of the late Macrina (Gauthier) Pitre of Chamberlain Settlement, announce his passing which occurred on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst with family by his side, at the age of 73.

Born in South Tetagouche, he was the son of the late David and Evelyne (Pitre) Pitre.

He is survived by his two daughters: Laurie Anne Boudreau (Ronald) and Jennifer Pitre (Scott Daley) both of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Jessica LaPlante and Austin Aubie and two step-grandchildren: Megan Boudreau and Adam Theriault.

Two sisters: Rose-Marie Pitre Fougere of Beresford and Doris Pitre Godin of South Tetagouche. Sister-in-law, Christine Pitre of Bathurst.

He also leaves behind his partner, Geraldine Chiasson of Bathurst.

Besides his parents and wife he was predeceased by a brother Brian and two sisters: Pauline and Linda.

The family will receive friends and family after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13th at Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst from where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
