Bathurst - Mrs. Estelle Allain, 80, formerly of East Bathurst, passed away peacefully on Saturday (February 9, 2008) at the Villa Sormany, Robertville. Born in Robertville, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Isabelle (Chiasson) Hachey. She was pre-deceased by her 1st husband, Rodrick Allain. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Gauthier of Acadieville. Five sons: Albert Allain of Quebec Daniel Allain of Montreal Levis Allain (Reginald Cormier) of Bathurst Rodrigue Allain (Julie) of Bathurst Jean-Claude Allain (Suzanne) of Bathurst Five daughters: Léonie Boulay of Montreal Florence Allain (Ronald Couture) of Robertville Rolande Mazerolle (Claude) of Allardville Jeannette Allain of Bathurst Alexina C. Robichaud (Réjean) of Bathurst Five step-daughters: Eglantine Comeau (Henri) of Petit-Rocher Cécile Clark (Joe) of Quebec Simonne McDermaid (Rex) of Ottawa, ON Fredonia Boudreau (Fernand) of Petit-Rocher Bernice Pitre (Léonard) of Wellsford, NB Two step-sons: Yvon Allain and Eudore Allain (Shirley) both of Bathurst One sister: Francella Roy of Bathurst 22 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son; Gilles, daughters; Evelyne, Isabelle, step-sons; Roger and Levis. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton's Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (February 13, 2008) at 2:30 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral (Cathédral Sacré-Coeur), St. Andrew St., Bathurst. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, East Bathurst, in the spring. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and Wednesday from noon until time of Funeral.
