Bathurst - Mrs Jeannette Couture, 66, wife of Edmond Couture of East Bathurst, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst. Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Marguerite (Doucet) Vienneau and the late Edouard Vienneau. She was a loving wife and devoted her life to her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and four wheeling. She lived her life to the fullest, day by day. But what she loved the most was family gatherings, with her children and grandchildren, singing and having fun. That always brought a smile and sparkles in her eyes. She was very proud of them. She will be greatly missed by all. Besides her husband, she is survived by: One son; Daniel (Sylvie) of Beresford. Four daughters; Linda Arseneau (Gaetan) of Beresford, Nicole Harrison (Ken) of Campbellton, Marguerite Savoie (Magella Roy) and Nathalie Couture (Stéphane Roy) both of Alcida. Three brothers; Charles Vienneau (late Marie-Anne) of Nicholas-Denys, Johnny Vienneau (Elizabeth) of Big River and Pierre Vienneau (Louise) of Bathurst. Ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body will rest after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elhatton’s Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
