It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christina Godin at her home on October 23, 2026.

Born in 2000 in Tremblay, New Brunswick, Christina was the beloved daughter of Colette Godin.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Colette Godin; her stepfather, Joey Poisson; her sister, Emilie Poisson; her grandmother, Claudette Godin; her father, Robert Duguay; her cousins, James and Dawn Godin her partner, Eric Camiré, as well as her fur baby Lexi, and many extended family members, friends, and colleagues.

She was predeceased by her grandfather, Laurent Godin, and her uncle, Marc Godin.

A kind and gentle soul, Christina was proud to have completed her studies in administration at Collège Boréal. After spending several years in Kapuskasing, Ontario, she had recently returned to the Bathurst region and was looking forward to building both her career and her future with Vitalité Health Network.

Growing up on her grandparents' hobby farm, Christina developed a lifelong love of animals and nature. She was happiest outdoors with Eric and their beloved fur baby, Lexi, whether enjoying time on the lake, exploring local trails, or simply enjoying nature together.

She also treasured the time she spent with her pride and joy, her little sister Emilie. Christina had wished for a sibling for many years and was overjoyed to become a big sister when Emilie entered her life. The bond they shared brought her immense happiness and remained one of the greatest joys of her life.

Those who knew Christina will remember her caring heart, her quiet determination, and the love she had for her family, friends, and animals. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, Beresford on Thursday, November 5th from 2 p.m. until departure for the mass will be held at 4 pm from Holy Name of Jesus Christ Church in Beresford.
