It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Kenneth Jr. Lavigne, of Bathurst, which occurred on Saturday January 3, 2026, at Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital, at the age of 74.

Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Reginald and Geraldine (Jennings) Lavigne.

Kenneth was a member of the Herman J. Good, V.C. Br. 18 Royal Canadian Legion, Bathurst and the First United Church.

He will be sadly missed by his companion, Doris (Spence) Alexander.

One daughter, Tammy Lavigne (Kevin) of Bathurst.

Two grandchildren: Alexander and Cherokee.

One brother: Aurele Lavigne of Bathurst.

One sister, Shirley Boudreau of Bathurst.

Several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, Lucy Margaret, three sisters: Audrey, Barbara, Lillian and one brother, Clifford Rodney.

The funeral service for Kenneth has been delayed until the spring, a date and time will be announced. Donations in memory of Kenneth may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
